Elizabeth Amy Snodgrass passed away June 23, 2016, in Wichita. She was born on November 23, 1917, to Edwin Forest and Susie Harper Snodgrass at Pleasant Look Farm, Towanda, and graduated from El Dorado Junior College in 1937. Growing up with mission mined parents and having taken a Life Service Pledge, Elizabeth had a conviction that God was calling her to be a Missionary. The Pledge was "I will give my life under God for others rather than for myself, for the advancement of the kingdom of God rather than for my personal success." Her life was truly a testament to the Life Service Pledge she took years ago.
