Services for Mrs. Elizabeth “Liz” McCann will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Searcy Baptist Church in Trout with Reverend Tim Norris and Reverend Steve Jones officiating. Graveside Service will follow in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery in Trout with Reverend Steve Jensen officiating, under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
The family requests that visitation be observed Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena and Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 12 p.m. until the time of service at Searcy Baptist Church in Trout.
Mrs. McCann, 76, of Trout, was born September 11, 1943 in Trout and passed from this life on Friday, August 14, 2020. She was a trusted beautician for 56 years and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Henry McCann; and parents, Joseph “Lonnie” Jones and Wilma “Bernice” Francis Jones.
Those left to cherish in her memory include her sons, Joey McCann (Connie), Jim McCann (Nicki); brother, Joseph Jones (Diane); sister, Helen Monk (David); grandchildren, Cody, Kayla, Ryan, Ethan, Jackson, Abbie Elizabeth, Caden, Lander, and Bridger; great grandchildren, Adryan, Brady, Addy, Emersyn, and Charlie; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cody McCann, Ryan McCann, Ethan McCann, Jackson McCann, Caden McCann, and Chad Jones.
