She was born February 12, 1947 in New Martinsville, WV, the daughter of the late LeRoy M. and Mary Louise Woodford Bishop.
She is a retired school teacher for Wetzel County with 36 years of service, a protestant by faith and loved to quilt, travel and camp.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, James “Spike” Bishop.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Jerry Hunter and one brother, Doug (Penny) Bishop and her favorite dog, Cassie.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
