Dr. Joe Mack King age 76, of Mandeville passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Lakeview Regional Hospital. He was born on July 25, 1944, in Conroe, TX to Walter Emmett King and Willie Mae Bush King.
Joe is survived by his loving daughter Rachel Rebecca King-Dunn, son-in-law Danny Mac Dunn Jr.; and grandson Jacob Easton Dunn.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Kathryn Pauline Palmer King (June 1, 2020), parents Walter and Willie Mae King.
Joe was a native of Conroe, TX and a resident of Mandeville for many years. He truly enjoyed his career as a Professor at University of New Orleans, and Auburn University Montgomery. His true passion was teaching. Joe continued to work up until his passing.
A Memorial Service for Joe will be held at a later date in Montgomery, AL.
