William Franklin Green
1940 - 2020

William Franklin Green was born on March 19, 1940 to the late John Green and Lillian Sanders Green. He passed away on August 13, 2020 in a local hospital. He was a self employed commercial fisherman. Mr. Green was a U.S. Army Veteran and attended the Friendship Baptist Church for many years and Hillside Baptist Church more recently.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Green; son, Billy Green and daughter, Tammy Green.; brothers, J.C. and Buddy Green; sisters, Vera, Tootie, Lillie Mae and nephew; Charles Green.

Survivors include his long time companion, Judy Payne: two step children, Buddy and Cindy: grandson, Matthew: granddaughter, Jennifer: and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, 1:00 P.M. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.

Due to Covid 19, we are asking everyone to wear a mask.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
