Morning Call
March 27, 2015Judith Wildasin, of Grafton, died peacefully at home of cancer on March 25, 2015, at the age of 66 years. She was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on January 3, 1949, the daughter of Eleanor (the late George) Graham of Bethlehem, PA. Judy is survived by her husband Ronald; son Rev. Eric (Rev. Sara) Marean of Nelson, NH, and Leslie (David) Plautz, of Mequon; grandchildren Zephaniah, Wren and Milo Marean and Reese Plautz; sister Kathleen (Jeffrey) Wildonger of St. Croix, USVI, brother Dr. Stephen (Karen) Graham of Cooperstown, NY, sister-in-law Peggy (Anthony) Brallier of Hanover, PA.
Judy graduated from Abington Hospital School of Nursing, in Abington, PA. Judy and Ron were married on April 4, 1970 in Allentown, PA and moved to Milwaukee later that year. In 1973 they moved to Grafton. As a Registered Nurse, Judy worked in the ICU unit at St. Michael Hospital for 30 years until it was closed. She then worked for 6 years in Critical Care at Columbia St-Mary's (Ozaukee) until her illness about two years ago.
Over the years Judy was an avid reader. There are almost as many books at home as exist in the Grafton Library. She spent many, many hours knitting beautiful afghans for her family and friends. Ron & Judy cherished numerous vacation trips with Mequon friends, touring areas from the Canadian Rockies down to the Galapagos Islands in the Pacific. What a blast.
Services and remembrance will be held at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, in Grafton, on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 7 PM. Visitation will be from 4:30 pm to time of service. The family extends a special Thank You to the Oncology Team at Columbia St. Mary's (Ozaukee), Horizon Home Care and Hospice, and Rev. Erv Uecker. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Judy's name to Pilgrim Church are appreciated.
