My great grandfather was born in New Jersey to Rodman Price Bunting and Susan Flock (Hutchinson) Bunting. He had two brothers, Walter M. and Harvey W. He married Louise Roninger on September 18, 1912, in St. John's Church, Orange, New Jersey, and they had four children: Margaret (died in infancy), Margaret Irene (Bunting) Paladino, Walter, and Edmund.


In early 1920, they moved from Orange to Windsor, New Jersey, and moved into the house that was formerly occupied by his mother.


In early 1923, they moved to the Jack Davis farm, near the town of Windsor.

Alvin H. Bunting, 46 years old, died Saturday at his home, 117 Liberty street. Funeral services were conducted at his late residence by the Rev. Edgar Hunt Tuesday afternoon. Interment was in Windsor Cemetery, under the direction of Wm. S. Heyer. Mr. Bunting is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise bunting; three children, Margaret, Walter and Edmund; two brothers, Harvey W. Gravesite Details

The plot was unmarked until the death Marie L. Bunting. Alvin and Marie's son, Walter, purchased the stone after his mother's death; however, "Alvin" on the headstone is misspelled as "Alvien".
