Chris departed this life on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Medical City of Lewisville. Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harlee and Willie Mae Hare.

Chris began playing sports at an early age alongside his brothers, cousins, and close friends. He played football, baseball, basketball, and ran track. Although his main sport was football, he loved to pitch baseball. Chris grew bigger and stronger through junior high and high school. He started out playing linebacker but realized that he liked running the ball and scoring touchdowns. As a sophomore, he was able to play sports in high school with his older brother, Stanley. He scored 4 touchdowns against the district rival, the Trinity Trojans, and that same year, he ran for 1014 yards. This put him on the first team All-District. Chris also participated and did very well in powerlifting. His senior year was just as bright as his junior year. After high school, he was awarded an athletic scholarship to Kilgore Junior College to play football (1991-1992) where he obtained his Associates Degree and moved to San Angelo State University until 1993. Chris began working construction jobs with family ad friends throughout the remainder of his life. During Chris' life he was outgoing and had a heart of gold. He loved the game of dominoes.
