Funeral Service for Gary Hale, 82, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on December 29, 1937 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Luby Ava (Brewer) Hale and Tom Pete Hale and passed away on August 13, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Dora Marie (Tweedy) Hale. She preceded him in death on January 8, 1980. He was retired from the Sallisaw City Sanitation Department and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are:
3 daughters: twin daughters, Sharon Hale of Sallisaw, OK and Karen Carter and husband, Troy, of Sallisaw, OK and Ann Annesley and Henry of Sallisaw, OK;
4 sons: Gary Hale of Gans, OK, Stanley Hale and wife, Deanna, of Sallisaw, OK, Jerry Hale and wife, Tammy, of Sallisaw, OK and Clay Hale and wife, Pam, of Siloam Springs, AR;
12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren;
2 brothers: Gaylen Hale of Vinita, OK and Tom Hale of Sallisaw, OK;
numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
