Funeral services for Mr. David H. Youree, 66, Salem Road, who died May 7 at Vanderbilt Hospital, will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 9, Jennings & Ayers Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. John Williams and Harold S. Baker will officiate.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Dement Youree of Murfreesboro.
A member of Church of Christ, Retired Teachers Association, National Education Association and Tenn. Education Association, he had taught in Rutherford County 39 years. He retired in 1975 from Smyrna schools due to poor health after 17 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the David Youree Elementary School Library.
