MISTY DANIELLE MOORE "BISCUIT", graced us with her presence on October 18, 1982 to Kenneth E. Moore and Marian Moore, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She departed from this life on August 12, 2020 at the age of 37. MISTY received her formal education in the Indianapolis Public School system and graduated from Northwest High School in 2001. Misty attended Ball State University for two years where she studied Early Childhood Development and Athletic Trainer. MISTY was an active and longstanding member of Phillips Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. Misty gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was highly active in the community throughout her life. This includes, but is not limited to; Girl Scouts, ASB, Spanish Club, Athletic Trainer, Peace Club, ICEE/CYF, Phillips Temple Grandsteppers, usher, Tuesday Night Bible Study (Misty appreciated Mother Turner looking out for her and Malik), delegate/chaperone in several annual conferences, Caring by Sharing, Angel Tree, Page for the House of Representatives, and Empowered Living Inc. She had a heart for helping others be a better version of themselves, youth and the criminal justice system. All of this was evident by how she gave her time, talents, and treasures. She was a loving, caring, giving daughter, mother, sister and friend. Misty always believed that no matter who you are, what you look like, or what you share with the world, there will always be someone who doesn't approve of you. She felt that you are who you are, and that you are enough. She felt that it wasn't her job to conform to someone else's idea of what is considered a worthwhile human being. She thought that instead of focusing on all of the people who didn't approve of her, she would instead try to take some time to remind herself of all the people who did appreciate and accept her. She felt that those were the people who mattered. To them she mattered and that she need-ed to let go of the rest. Misty began her struggle with kidney failure in 2007, the same year she gave birth to her pride and joy, her son Malik. Throughout the years, Misty did not allow it to stop her from living life to the fullest. This included traveling, starting a small business, working (St. Mary Childcare Center, Indiana Grand Racing and Casino, and Denny's), and being a servant to others. On August 12, 2020, at the age of 37, Misty entered everlasting peace. Her last words were a message to us all, "If I've done any wrong to anyone, I'm sorry, and if anyone has done wrong to me, I forgive you." Misty was preceded in death by her son David Moore, (grandfather) Floyd S. Moore, (step-grandfather) Daniel Jones, (step-grandfather) Ted Bradshaw. Misty leaves to cherish her memory; (dad) Kenneth E. Moore, (mom) Marian Moore, (son) Malik Adonis Moore, (sister) Suzanne Bester, (brother) Kenneth A. Moore, (brother) Hampton Moore, (stepmother) Patricia Thomas Moore, (grandmother) Marvalynn Jones, (grandmother) Bertha Bradshaw and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
