OBITUARY
Alonzo W. Anderson was born in Indiana on February 13, 1868, and died at his home in Grant county July 22, 1910, aged 51 years, 5 months, and 9 days. He is survived by his father, one sister, his wife, seven children and six grandchildren.

Mr. Anderson moved with family to Grant county about fourteen years ago and located on a homestead in the north part of this county where he lived and engaged extensively in the raising of horses, mules, and cattle. He was well known and enjoyed the confidence and esteem of every one. His illness covered a period of several months and everything [was done] that could be done for his relief but without success. At last he gave up hope of recovery and asked to be allowed to die at home and the end came within a few hours after his arrival. His body was laid to rest in the family lot in Shockey cemetery in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends.

In addition to the children who have been linked is daughter Alta J. Anderson Ogilvie (1900-1989)
