David O. Schultz, age 48, of Nerstrand, died Sunday, August 9, 2020, due to injuries sustained in an ATV accident.
Funeral services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverend Jeffery L. Sandgren, Pastor of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Faribault, officiating. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also for one hour prior to the service on Friday.
David Otto, the son of Elroy W. and Catherine R. (O’Bryan) Schultz, was born on December 2, 1971 in Faribault. He graduated from Faribault Senior High School in 1990. He married Jennifer Marie St. Martin on May 11, 2001 in Faribault. He was formerly employed by Donkers Farms, Witte Brothers, Southern Minnesota Construction, SEMA of Wanamingo and most recently by ConAgra as a farm shop manager. Dave enjoyed hunting, four wheeling, farming, welding, fabrication and snowmobiling.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; two sons, Austin (Danielle) Schultz of Medford and Alex Schultz of Nerstrand; his mother, Catherine Schultz Phillops of Faribault; step mother, BernaDean Schultz of Licking, MO; step siblings, Dana (and Dean) Jerrow of Faribault and Bruce (and Linda) Phillops of Mora; mother in law, Pam St. Martin of Faribault; one brother in law, Andrew (and Llyssa) St. Martin of Princeton; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elroy; and stepfather, Harvey R. Phillops.
