Sara Jean Miller, age 59, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 at SECU Hospice Home in Yadkinville. Sara was born November 16, 1960 in Wilkes County to Austin Bruce and Lucille Walls Miller. Ms. Miller was a wonderful mother, daughter, Nana to five grandbabies, sister, and friend. She would help anyone at anytime. She was an avid reader and delivered lunches during COVID-19. Sara was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Tommy and Pete Miller.
She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Kilby and spouse Brian of Mooresville, Brittany Miller and boyfriend, Wesley Douglas of North Wilkesboro; her son, Seth Hill of Hays; sisters, Sue Shew and spouse Tom of North Wilkesboro, Sissie Church of Wilkesboro, Judy Absher and spouse Jake of North Wilkesboro, Kathy Brown of Millers Creek, Cindy Ellis and spouse Reggie of Hays; grandsons, Noah Foster and Oliver Foster both of North Wilkesboro; three granddaughters; brothers, Terry Miller, Kenny Miller and spouse Ronda all of North Wilkesboro, James Miller of McGrady, Johnny Miller and spouse Terina of Greensboro; many nieces and nephews; long life friends and same as sisters, Bonnie Overman of North Wilkesboro and JoAnne Patrick of Millers Creek.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Miller Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from 1:00 until 2:00 on Sunday, prior to the service.
