Obituary for Tom Branham
George Thomas “Tom” Branham, 77, of Coatesville, Indiana, passed away Thursday evening, August 13, 2020, at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, Indiana. He was born September 15, 1942 in Indianapolis; a son of the late George “Max” and Gladys “Dot” (Holsapple) Branham.

Raised in the Indianapolis area, Tom graduated from Howe High School in 1960.

On February 12, 1967, he was united in marriage to Linda Kay (Barger) Branham in Indianapolis. Linda passed away June 21, 2002. He was later married to Judith “Judy” (Cook) Branham on September 16, 2007 in Avon, Indiana; she survives.

Tom retired as the service manager at J & J Distributors, currently known as Shaffer Distributing Company after many years of service.

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed fishing in his free time. Tom faithfully served as Deacon and Song Leader for El Bethel Baptist Church in Avon.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Branham of Coatesville; two daughters: Darlynn S. (companion, Jason Brown) Branham of Thorntown and Kelly Jo (Matt) Jackson of Lebanon; four stepchildren: Terri Singleton of Greenwood, Shelley (Chris) Huff of Greencastle, Doug (Becky) Kimsey of Avon, and Chrissy (Andy) Swails of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren: Brandon and Nathan Bowman, Dalton and Coy Brown, and Luke, Lyla, and Kane Jackson; eight step grandchildren: Jenna, Jake, and Josh Gaddis, Erica Lowery, Macy Kimsey, Reid and Grace Swails, and Austin Singleton; and a brother: Bob Branham of Cartersville, Georgia.

In addition to his parents and his first wife, Tom was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Patty Branham.

Funeral Services are planned for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. noon until the time of services at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
