CULP---Robert Albright “Bob,” 87, Richland, went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2020, at Memorial Medical Center. Born August 29, 1932, in Johnstown, son of the late Howard and Esther (Miller) Culp and step-mother Mary Francis Culp. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Theodore, David, and Thomas. Survived by loving wife of 65 years, Norma Jean (Dietz), daughters, Vicki Hershberger, Sheri (Peter) Mehalco, Wendi (John) Millick, and son, Robert (Jennifer) Culp; grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Ashley (Michael Kozak), Shana (Zac Long), Mathew (Shayla Houts), Alaina, Aiden, and Adelynn; great-grandchildren, Emma, Gabriel, John, Elias, and one on the way; sister, Nancy Cale; sister-in-law Nancy; and many nieces and nephews. Bob was a 1950 graduate of Richland High School.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Korean War.  Bob was a manager for both the Thorofare and Foodland grocery chains. He retired from the Richland School District where he worked as the building operator at University Park Elementary School.  Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who was an avid woodworker, gardener, and birdwatcher.  Member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church where a private funeral service will be held at the family's convenience with Pastor Scott Klimke officiating. Entombment at Richland Cemetery with military rites conducted by Menoher Post #155 VFW.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to the Cambria County Humane Society. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
