Orson B. Eggleston, 75, of Grover died of a heart ailment at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at his home. He had been a resident of Star Valley for 61 years.
Eggleston was born April, 29, 1872 at Ogden, Utah where he spent the first fourteen years of his life. In 1886 he moved to Afton where he lived until 1907 when he took up a ranch in Grover where he lived until his death.
He fulfilled a two year mission to the Eastern States mission for the LDS church.
On September 23, 1903 he was married to Annie Petersen in the Logan LDS Temple. Eleven children were born to this union, nine of whom are still living.
Survivors besides his widow are; Justin O. Eggleston, Connie England, Otis H. Eggleston, Grant Eggleston, and Wayne Eggleston all of Grover, June Corsi of Etna Radio Rudd, Lehi Utah; Marie Toburen and Opal Taylor, of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Funeral services will be held in the Grover ward Saturday at 1 p.m. The remains can be seen at the Schwab Mortuary or at the home Saturday morning.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 5th 1947 at 1:00 p.m. in the Grover Ward Chapel for Orson B, Eggleston. The program was arranged as requested by the family. Bp. J.L. Hepworth conducted the service.
The prayer in the home was offered by Elder Jay Eggleston.
Opening song, the Morning Breaks by the Grover Ward choir under the direction of Chloteal Griffeth with Elda Thurman at the organ.
Opening prayer by Joseph N. Anderson.
Louis J. Jensen was the first speaker
Vocal solo by Ernest Turner, My Faith In Thee.
Bp. Delos Gardner was the second speaker.
Vocal solo by Agatha Hurd, O My Father.

Closing song, Unanswered Yet. by the Grover Ward choir.

The grave was dedicated by Ole P. Petersen.
He leaves to mourn his loss besides his wife and children, one brother, Walter M. Eggleston of Pocatello, Idaho, and one sister, Laura Cutler of Long Beach, Calif., and several half brothers and sisters, twenty one grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
