Ronald Steven Sharick, 74, passed away August 10 at Cox South after a long fight with diabetes. Ron was born in Springfield MO to Deloris Howard and Arch Sharick. Ron loved his country and served in the Air Force as well as the Army where he participated in Operation Desert Storm. As a civilian, he worked at City Utilities for 25 years until his retirement.
Ron loved movies, garage sales, guns and knives.
Ron leaves behind Mary Jane, his wife of 55 years; brother Darrell and wife Lynn; sister Anita and husband Rodney; son Steve and wife Stephanie; daughter Patty; and grandchildren Richie, Riain, Riley, Ronni, Hunter and Jack, along with great grand-daughter Indi. His body has been cremated and interred at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Springfield.
