Kim was born June 13, 1958, in Detroit, the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Nastasi) Hunter. She met her husband Vernon 25 years ago and they married on February 8, 2011 in Lenox Township.
Kim was the dedicated Team Leader of Food Services at Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center, Richmond, for 17 years. She loved traveling, cruise ships, trips to the casino, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and shopping!
With a heart of gold and a smile that could light up a room, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Vernon; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly (John) Boulier of New Baltimore; son, Eric Musial of Lake Orion; six grandchildren, Melodee, Phoenix, Stephan, Mason, Logan and Jemah; two step-sons, Wayne Schulz of Warren and Craig (Sara) Schulz of Sterling Heights; two sisters, Barbara (John) Yurgelevic and Judith (Late Rick) Swenson; two brothers, Johnathon (Dottie) Pilkey, Rob Hunter, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family honors the memory of Kim and invites you to visit and share memories Monday, June 29 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond. Funeral services will be immediate family only 11:00 am Tuesday, June 30 with 10:00 am visitation. Rev, pastor Al Titus will officiate. Burial will be at Centennial cemetery, New Haven, MI.
