Mrs. Irma E. Rinehart, age 55, wife of Forrest Rinehart, principal of Mason High School, died unexpectedly here Wednesday evening. She was stricken while walking from her home at 218 Lawton Street to sew at the Mason General Hospital with the Pink Ladies hospital auxiliary. She died less than 6 hours later. She was popular and active in community affairs.

The Rinehart family moved here in 1956. Forrest Rinehart formerly taught in East Lansing MI.

Mrs. Rinehart was born in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, but spent most of her earlier years in Lansing.

She is survived by her husband Forrest, son David Rinehart (Lansing MI), a grandson, 2 brothers: Wesley G. Green (Indianapolis IN) & Carroll W. Green (Lansing MI) & 3 sisters: Mrs. Alice Eckerle (Lansing MI), Mrs. Daryl Douglas (LaGrange IN( [i.e. Beatrice] & Mrs. Allen Pond (Jackson MI) [i.e. Betty].

Her funeral will be Saturday at the Presbyterian Church in Mason, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing MI. (Provided by Islay 48898746.)
