Jimmy Lane Foster Jr. was born on July 26, 2000 in Shreveport, Louisiana. The son of Jimmy Foster and Elena Herrington. He passed away suddenly on June 24, 2017. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Jimmy Foster, known to many as JL, loved to go hunting, fishing, mudding on his 4-wheeler, and hanging out with his friends. His friends would say that he was more than a friend, he was family. He loved to joke around and his laughter will be remembered by all who knew him. He had a heart of gold with a smile and laugh to brighten any day. He was loved by many people and will be truly missed by all. Fly high, JL! You will be loved forever and always! You will be gone, but not forgotten! Rest in peace!

He was preceded in death by his papaw, Frank C. Williams, his great grandmother, Erma L. Hammett, and his grandparents, Mabel and Sam Foster. He is survived by his father, Jimmy Foster, his mother and step-father Elena and Jerry Herrington, his sisters, Brittney and Chelsea Foster, his step-sister, Aubree Herrington, his nephew, Caius Navi Rowe, his grandmother, Phyllis Williams, his grandmother, Sandra Foster, 2 aunts, 2 uncles, 4 cousins, and many, many friends.
