Lillian Morgan, 82, of Alt, Colorado entered into God's kingdom on August 7, 2020, while at her home in Commerce City, Colorado.
She was born to Robert and Hope Garcia on December 24, 1937, the oldest of five children, and is survived by her Son James Morgan, grandchildren Joseph Paul and Hope Francine Morgan, as well as her brother Robert Garcia, and sister Deborah Garcia. She is proceeded in death by her younger siblings Patricia Gloria and Richard Garcia.
Upon graduation from Brighton High School, Lillian joined the U.S. Navy to serve her country. She proudly served as a Hospital Technician on the General Maurice Rose based out of St. Albans, New York. It was in the service where she met her husband and began a family. After receiving an Honorable Discharge she dedicated her life to nursing and continued caring for others at hospitals throughout Colorado to include Mercy Hospital in Denver.
Lillian was a private person and held a high moral and ethics code. When she took a stand, there was no convincing her otherwise. Many perceived her as tough and strong, but if they were lucky to see past the spit shine and polish, they'd enjoy a very loving and caring person with a diversity of interests. She enjoyed watching and attending wrestling matches at large and small venues alike. She enjoyed the structured chaos and entertainment so much that she embarked on a short career as a female wrestler. She particularly enjoyed being the "heel" who whipped the crowd into a frenzy after besting the good guy. You would have never guessed, but Lillian had a passion and commitment that inspired others, both young and old, to discard what other people think and pursue their dreams.
Lillian was truly a great woman who faced life's challenges with courage and pride. She lived through breast cancer and numerous other physical and life challenges that would have crumbled lesser people. We pray that she finds peace beyond heaven's gates and embarks knowing she lived a full and meaningful life. Her contributions to this life on earth will live on in her friends and family.
