Tara at her core was a special soul who enjoyed the arts, was creative and a natural athlete in her youth. She was thoughtful and loved to serve others. Tara had an incredible faith in God and was involved in our local ministries all through her young life. She was the mother to three beautiful children and found motherhood one of her greatest accomplishments. Tara was loved deeply by so many that knew her but above all her parents Jim and Cynthia Thompson.
For those that did not know her writing was always her “thing”, it was her outlet to express herself and share her story. Her writings were filled with passion, love, humor, and struggle. Exactly how she lived her life. Each line she wrote gave you a glimpse into who she was and what she was going through. Often you were left in awe of the words before you, and other times you could feel the pain in the deepest parts of your soul. We all wished she could have written her own happy ending, one that was filled with hope and strength. Sadly, she was never able to write those words. As we look back on her life we hold onto the memories filled with love and laughter, our favorite chapters of her unfinished story.
From the Star Tribune: 8/2/2020
Survived by her parents James and Cynthia Thompson, sister Lindsey (Brad) Boden, brother Taylor (Lexi) Thompson, and three children Holden, Haven, and Hudson. A private celebration of life will be held in late August.
