Carol was born in Troy, NY on October 23, 1935 daughter of the late William Cramer and Lillian (LeCompte) Cramer. She worked as the executive secretary for the Personnel Officer for Prince George’s County, MD for over 30 years, retiring in 1994.
Carol’s life revolved around her family and she always put the needs of others before her own. She was a faithful Catholic and a member of Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Church in Millsboro, DE. Carol also loved arts & crafts, ceramics, making picture albums and scrapbooking. Her talents in needlepoint and crocheting were displayed in the beautiful baby blankets she made for each of her great grandchildren that are still loved and cherished by each of them. She will be deeply missed by her family, but her memory will live on in their hearts forever.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Cramer and her niece Anne Marie Cramer. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Donald Carroll; a daughter, Lori Robinson and her husband, John of Stevensville, MD; two grandchildren, Bernadette Wildoner and her husband, Matthew of San Antonio, TX and Patrick Robinson and his wife, Mary Anne of Church Hill, MD; three great grandchildren, Christopher and Hannah Wildoner and Aiden Robinson, her sister-in-law Judy Cramer and two nephews, Paul Cramer, Jr. and his wife, Lisa of Edinburg, NY and David Cramer of Voorheesville, NY.
Due to the COVID-19 virus, services and burial will be held privately. A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date with a celebration of life to follow.
