Phyllis Jo Morgan, 69, of Connersville, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020, at Majestic Care in Connersville. She was born on December 7, 1950, in Hell-For-Certain, Kentucky. She was one of six children born to the late Patrick Clark and Georgia Baker Clark Bentley.
She was very crafty and enjoyed quilting. Phyllis also loved baking and cooking, especially for her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Billie Jo (Robbie) Geise; five siblings, Patricia (Aaron) Clark Turner, Austin Kelly (Charlotte) Clark, Roger (Julia) Clark, Gwendolyn Bentley Black, and Ginger Bentley Anderson; six grandchildren, Ashley Crouch, Aaron Crouch, Morgan Geise, Colton Stamper, Cyra Stamper, and Nolan Geise, a great-grandchild, Iree Pierce; nieces and nephews, Tracy, Nikki, Jason, Dallas, Dustin, Dale, Eric, and GiGi; and her former husband and lifelong friend, Hemmer Morgan.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jimmy Bramble; a daughter, Helen Denise Morgan; a brother, Richard Bentley, and a granddaughter, Sierra Stamper-Morgan.
Visitation for Phyllis Jo will be on Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville. The funeral service will begin at 12:00pm, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Springersville Cemetery
