She was born to Ida Jean Belyeu and Leonard Dewey Belyeu on December 2, 1948, in Taylor, Texas.
Brenda grew up in and around the Temple/Belton/Bartlett area. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1967.
She married her best friend, James Green, on December 23, 1973 in Georgetown, Texas.
She and Jim were blessed with one daughter, Amy Green on September 20, 1974.
Brenda and Jim were happily married for 48 years. Brenda was primarily a homemaker, but also cleaned houses and helped Jim doing yard work. She had a great attitude about life and always said, “keep on truckin’.” She kept on truckin’ until she went to her Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bobby Belyeu and Ricky Belyeu.
She is survived by her husband, Jim, and her daughter, Amy, of Georgetown, Texas and her brother Wayne Belyeu and wife, Kathy, of Lometa, and several nieces and nephews.
Brenda had been a resident of The Wesleyan at Scenic for several years and received excellent and loving care from staff whom she loved as family.
There will be a Memorial Service and Celebration of Life for Brenda at 10:00 a.m. on August 21, 2020 at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Georgetown, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a donation to The Wesleyan be made.
