Judith Rae Hill, 85, of Columbus, died at 11:15 a.m. August 10, 2020, at her home.
Judith was born April 23, 1935, in Columbus, the daughter of Frank and Beulah Wirey Schuder. She married James R. Hill December 6, 1952; he preceded her in death in July of 1993.
She was the co-owner, with her husband, of Hill Salvage. Judith loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of her flowers.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Ancel Harden officiating. Calling will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday. Burial will follow the service at Garland Brook Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Karen (David) Dugan and Mark Hill, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Kristen (Jason) Mackey, Kelli (Caleb) Hacker, Matthew (Jen) Dugan and Hunter Hill; and great-grandchildren, Kaeleigh Hacker, Lauren Mackey, Lillian Mackey, McKenna Hacker, Bailey Dugan and Jack Dugan.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Schuder and mother, Beulah Denk; husband, James; and a daughter, Kathy Jeffries.
