Timothy J. Hayes, 67, of Waterloo died, Saturday, August 8 at Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.

He was born September 30, 1952, in Waterloo, son of James L. and Elsie Hayes.

Tim married Patricia Glover April 21, 1977, in Waterloo, they later divorced.

He later married Sherri Jones June 29, 2015, in Waterloo.

Tim attended Columbus High School.

He was self-employed at Hayes Remodeling and later retired from Bertch Cabinets in 2015.

Survived by: his wife, Sherri; a son, Chad Hayes of Waterloo; two daughters, Kimberly (Matt) Buck of Cedar Falls, and Krystle (Thadd) Olson of Cedar Falls; four grandchildren, Ansley Olson, Lucas Buck, Allison Buck and T.J. Buck; two stepchildren, Travis Jones of Eagle Grove, and Maggie (Armando) Chararria of Clarion; six step-grandchildren; two brothers, Don (Lou) Hayes of Waterloo, and Jim (Donna) Hayes of Peoria Ariz.; a sister, Connie (Dave) Hackett of Waterloo.

Preceded by: a brother, Russ Hayes.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 14, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street with inurnment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be one hour before services.
Due to Covid 19 everyone is required to wear a mask at either the visitation or the service.
