Cheryl Dean was a strong woman and a fighter. She loved her family dearly, and enjoyed spending time with her children and grand baby Marney Mae. She was an old soul, she loved Matt Dillon and old westerns. She enjoyed horseback riding, riding four-wheelers, floating the river and going out with her friends. She worked as a Postal Carrier for several years, and she served on the Proctor-Sanders Community Cemetery Board. Cheryl Dean would do anything for her family. She fought for a long time but is finally at peace. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her sister Teresa Walters.
She is survived by her parents Nadine Pettigrew of Stilwell and Roy Pettigrew of Springdale, AR; her children Bailey Grant and husband Derrick of Park Hill, Bradley Bruner and fiancé Catherine Brumley of Westville and Cydney Chae Wright of Westville; her brother John Wayne Walters of Marble City; her sister Amanda Pritchett and husband Hurshel of Stilwell; and her grand baby Marney Mae Grant of Park Hill. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
