Sadie Louise (Giles) Perkins, age 83, born in East Brewton, Alabama on December 21, 1936, a resident of Bay Minette, Alabama passed away at Oakwood Nursing Home on Sunday, August 9th, 2020.
Louise was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. For the past few years her life was touched by dementia.
Louise is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Jerry Perkins.
Three children, Tony (Sherry) Perkins of Mauldin, SC; Sandra (Ray) Henry of Bay Minette, AL; and Terry Perkins of Bay Minette, AL.
Seven Grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Kenway of Mauldin, SC; Jason (Candace) Perkins of Montgomery, AL; Sarah Perkins of Simpsonville , SC; Stephanie (Darin) Robinson of Bay Minette, AL; Vanessa (Mark) Fox of Pensacola, FL; Jonathan (Grace) Kriss, of Mobile, AL; and Brandon Perkins of Bay Minette, AL.
Seven Great-Grandchildren Olivia & Natalie Robinson, Brooks & Ambiel Perkins, William Kenway, Myles Fox and Waverly Kriss.
One sister, Fay Powell and seven brothers, Ray Edward, Raymond, Roy, Ronnie, Roger, Rufus, and Ralph. Many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents George Ray Giles and Etta Voncille Giles.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 11, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Bay Minette with Reverend Steve Pettis and Reverend Chester Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 10th, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church located at 1706 Hwy 31 South, Bay Minette, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Mark Fox, Jonathan Kriss, Brandon Perkins, Darin Robinson, Ronnie Peacock, and Aubrey Yarbrough.
