Mr. Cole was born in Union County to the late Doris, Sr. and Eva Conner Cole. He worked for 35 years as a supervisor for DuPont. He is preceded in death by his daddy, Doris Cole, Sr.; his mother, Eva Conner Cole; a granddaughter, Karen Carlton and great grandson, James Curtis, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, his 3 children, 4 grandchildren all of Starke; 6 step-grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; 1 sister, numerous nieces and nephews also survive.(Names of living withheld per FAG guidelines)
