Smith, Nichole Marie "Nicky" 9/17/1979 - 3/23/2019 St. Charles, Michigan Beloved mother, daughter, granddaughter and sister passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at her home. She was 39 years old. Nichole Marie Smith was born on September 14, 1979 in Saginaw, Michigan to Sallie Kay Cunningham and Alfred Fred Smith, Jr. She was a proud 1998 graduate of Hemlock High School. Following graduation, Nichole attended Delta College and received her Associate's Degree. She later attended Ross Medical Education Center. Nichole was a member of Nelson United Methodist Church. She enjoyed shopping, running, hunting and fishing. Nichole had a huge heart and loved her pets and the holidays. Above all, she loved and cherished her family, especially her son, Zach. Surviving are her son, Zachary Smith of Hemlock; mother, Sallie (Robert) Lewicki of Silverwood; father, Alfred "Buddy" (Katherine Jerry) Smith of Hemlock; three sisters and four brothers, Tiffany Smith of Hemlock; Brian Smith of Merrill; Chad (Michelle) Smith of Hemlock; Justin (Linsie) Smith of Saginaw; Danielle Smith of Hemlock; Crystal Lewicki of Silverwood; and Robert "Bobby" Lewicki, Jr. of Silverwood; and her grandparents, Glenn and Shirley Cunningham of St. Charles and Barbara Harder of Florida. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family. She was preceded in death by an infant son; brother, Jason Matthew Smith; grandfather, Alfred Smith, Sr.; a nephew, Ashton Smith. A Celebration of Nichole's Life will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2019 at Nelson United Methodist Church, 5950 S. Hemlock Road. Pastor Michael Vollmer will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Honoring Nichole's wishes cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Smith Family c/o Glenn or Shirley Cunningham.
