Kenneth Joseph Keller
Gramercy, Louisiana
February 2, 1978 - August 3, 2020

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."" 2 Timothy 4:7-8

With his mother by his side, on the morning of August 3, 2020, at Ochsner Hospital-Westbank, Kenneth ”KK” Joseph Keller, Jr., of Marrero, LA was given his heavenly wings and went to be with the Lord at the age of 42.

Kenneth Jr. was the second born to the union of Geraldine and the later Kenneth Keller Sr. of Vacherie, LA on February 2, 1978.

Kenneth greeted all with his infectious smile. If he did not know your name, then he gave you one. He loved to watch game shows, especially Steve Harvey, which gave him comfort when he was not feeling his best. Most of all, Kenneth loved lawnmowers, and would let everyone know that he wanted “the big one”. He enjoyed socializing with his family and friends. He loved everyone and dogs, especially Bo, and was always saying, “Bo is a good dog”. He was tagged, “the friendliest child on the street”, because he would wave to all the passing cars and speak to all who were outside in their yards.

He is survived by his devoted mother Geraldine, sister Keisha Jackson (Leonard, his Bruh-in-law), brother Kavin, nephew Leonard III, niece Keila, devoted caregiver Tyrone Thomas and a plethora of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends whom he loved.

Kenneth Jr. was preceded in death and welcomed with open arms by his father, Kenneth Sr., and grandparents, Lula and Royal Burham, Septemia and Charles Keller Sr..

There will be a walk through public viewing on, Tuesday, August 11, 2020, from 5pm through 7 pm at The Treasures of Life Funeral Home, 315 E Airline Highway, Gramercy, LA.

All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 13281 Highway 644, South Vacherie, LA at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church Cemetery.
