LEWISBURG Carrie A. Kline, 83, of 314 Market Street, died Saturday October 24, 1998, at Evangelical Community Hospital.
She was born February 10, 1915, at RR3 Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Charles and Laura (Wise) Malady.
Mrs. Kline was employed by American Home Food, before retiring in 1980. She enjoyed shopping, dancing, cooking and reading. Mrs. Kline was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Lewisburg.
Surviving were one daughter and son-in-law, June K. and Terry Seaman of Lewisburg, two granddaughter and their husbands. Sheila Seaman and Michael William of Amherst, Mass., and Stacy and Peter Doom of Cary, N.C., and two great-grandchildren, Thomas and Christopher Doom.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Stella Showers and Clara Walter, and by two brothers, Cloyde and Elmer Malady.
The funeral was conducted at the Gary H. Cronrath Funeral Home, Lewisburg, by the Reverend G. Richard Dulin, interim pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ, Lewisburg.
Burial was in Church Hill Cemetery, RR3 Lewisburg.
