A.D. was a lifelong rancher and a member of Grant Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of John Deere and while working there he made many lifelong friends. A.D. enjoyed riding his tractor through his pasture, counting and admiring his cattle. He loved spending time with family and friends, but he especially loved the time he spent with his grandchildren.
A.D. served as a board member of the Grant Cemetery for many years and was very involved with the upkeep and history of the cemetery. He was appointed honorary mayor of Grant. A.D. was a founding member of the Hugo Horse and Rodeo Club. He was also involved in the construction of the first rodeo arena in Hugo. A.D. loved helping and being involved with the Grant Community where he served on the Homecoming Committee for many years. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A.D. is survived by his son, Kenneth Mark Davidson and wife Cathy of Grant, OK; daughter Ellen Trantham and husband Dennis of Grant, OK; brother, Harvey Don Davidson of Hugo, OK; sisters, Betty Sain of Chicota, TX, Etta Gordon of Paris, TX; grandchildren, Kent Lee Davidson and wife April, Heather Day and husband Brandon, Todd Trantham and wife Kellie, Jason Trantham and wife Brittanie, Amy Lowery and husband Todd; special friend Hava Harbour along with numerous great grandchildren, great- great children and a host of other family and friends.
