Larry Wayne Graves, Jr. passed away at home in Cypress, Texas on August 1, 2020. He was 58 years young.

Larry, or "Buddy" as some family called him, was born in Bucyrus, Ohio and spend most of his young life there with a large family. Larry spent time in the Army and National Guard after high school. He then moved to Texas permanently where he found his calling as a husband, father, and grandfather. Larry worked his entire professional career in the oil and gas industry for over 35 years and traveled the world for work.

Watching NASCAR, working in the garden, going to family reunions, working on his Jeep Truck, playing with electronics, cooking, and spoiling his grandchildren were some of his favorite things.

Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Retha. He is survived by his mother, Arlene Wise, his siblings Rebecca Iery, Tamara Donaldson, Steven Wise, Jeanette Sawyer, Elizabeth Furrer, and step siblings John and Lanny Bowman. Larry was a loving dad to Lee Bunch, Shawn Stroud, Kimberly Tutt, Kristen Foust, and Tiffany Willke. He was also the best Papa in the world to Zachary, Alyssa, Anthony, Emilee, Caitlin, Conor, Evelyn, Lucy, Aislyn, Hayes, Katherine, and a 12th grandbaby on the way.

Larry will be remembered for his fun-loving and laid back personality. He was very reliable, predictable, and always someone you could count on.

Larry will be buried in Hallsville, Texas next to his wife. A memorial service to be announced soon.
