CHAPEL HILL - In the early morn of Jan. 17, 1896, the silver cord was loosed and golden bowl broken which set the ransomed soul of Mrs. Marzee Ogilvie free. For many years she resided in the Chapel Hill community and for 54 years was a true and faithful member of the M.E. Church, South. We do thank God for a member of such devout spirit, tireless energy and faithful service. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. C.S. Gabbard in the M.E. Church at this place after which her remains were carried to College Grove and laid to rest at the Ogilvie Cemetery." (News article dated Jan. 28)
