Travis attended Immaculate Heart of Mary School and St. Augustine High School, where he would make lifelong connections, memories and gain numerous friends and associates. He served as an altar boy at Immaculate Heart of Mary and St. Jude churches. Throughout his childhood, Travis played basketball, football and baseball for Pontchartrain Park. After graduating high school, he attended Southern University at New Orleans for 1 year and then decided to enter the workforce. He worked for the United States Postal Service for many years. He was currently employed as a foreman with Onpoint Industrial Services where he would often be stationed in Louisiana, Texas, and Illinois.
