Eddie was the son of Eddie Charles Hudson Sr and Bernistine Mae Thomas Hudson. He was educated in the Macon County School System and was a Class of 1987 graduate of Macon County High School in Montezuma, Georgia. He graduated from Barbizon Modeling School in 1989. He served in the U.S. Army and received his Honorable Discharge. He excelled in making jewelry, poetry and modeling and owned his own jewelry store, Elegance By Eddie. He was a member of First Salem Baptist Church in Montezuma, Georgia which he joined in June 2010.

1 Sister: Syretta Denise Hudson Brown(Pernell).
2 Brothers: Clifford Bernard Hudson(Wanda) and Kenneth Jerome Hudson(Bianca).
3 Half-Sisters: Willie Mae Smith(Jack), Deborah Boykins and Miracle Hudson.
5 Aunts: Annie Claude Thomas, Amour Jean Smith, Mary Hudson, Annie Fagin and Dorothy Hines.
2 Uncles: Eddie Will Thomas and Albert Thomas Jr.
3 Nieces: Adrian Kimberly Williams, Miah Leann Hudson and Camiyah Hudson.
4 Nephews: Deontae Jeremiah Hudson, Joshua Hudson, Authuro Boykins and Jordan Dekense Hudson.
7 Devoted Friends: Eugene Arnold, Karen Hubbard, Demetrius Smith, Dana Hamilton, Gloria Snipes, Lessie Solomon and Helen Snipes.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 11AM in the Davis Chapel AME Church Cemetery in Oglethorpe, Georgia with Bishop Jack Smith officiating.
