Nickey Ray Jones, age 60, formerly of Piedmont, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 in Jefferson, CO. He was born October 22, 1959 in Kirkwood, MO, the son of Laurance Jones and Helen Juanita (Hartley) Jones.
Nickey was a graduate of Clearwater High School and was a Navy veteran, serving from 1985 to 1994. He was a past member of the Masonic Lodge and was of the Christian faith.
Preceding him in death is his father, Laurance Jones, 1 brother, Calvin Jones and 1 sister, Debra Jones.
Survivors include 2 children, Daniel Jones and Kelly Drury, both of St. Louis, his mother, Juanita Jones-Howard and her husband Nelson, of Piedmont, 1 brother, John Jones and his wife Nancy, of Piedmont, 3 sisters, Karen Krueger and her husband Rudy, of Seaside, OR, Linda Crozier and her husband John, of N. Las Vegas, NV, Janice Asberry and her husband Sam, of OFallon, MO, 3 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including his cousin Melanie Jones Littlefield, who he has lived with the past year.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Montgomery officiating.
Interment with Military Honors will be in the Clay Cemetery near Piedmont Mo
