Toni G. Leslie, age 60, of Fennville, Michigan passes away at her home unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Born June 23, 1952 in Hayti, Missouri, she was the daughter of Murray and Virginia (Halsey) Caperton. A graduate of Fennville High School Toni did clerical work in many offices in the area. Toni was a member of the Ganges Baptist Church, and loved animals of all kinds, she took in many stray dogs and cats over the years. She was preceded in death by her son Eric Leslie in 1991, and her father Murray Caperton in 2000. Surviving is her daughter Jena Phillips of Fennville, granddaughters Grayce and Olivia Phillips, mother Virginia Caperton, brothers, Jack and Valli Caperton, Pete and Cheryl Caperton, sisters Linda Caperton, and La Nell Gilley, all of Fennville and her sister Terri and Carl DuBac, of Maryland. A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the Ganges Baptist Church, with Pastor Thomas Case officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Ganges Baptist Church 6577 122nd Ave. Fennville, MI 49408, or any Humane Society. An online registry book is available at www.chappellfuneralhome.com
