Darlene was educated in the Wake County Public School System, graduating from Wake Forest-Rolesville High School in Wake Forest, NC. After completing high school, she continued her education at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, NC. She taught the three-year-old class at Buttons and Bows Preschool for over 21 years. She was a faithful member of Faith Tabernacle Holiness Church in Wake Forest, NC.
Darlene left to cherish her memory, her parents, Zadie and Silas Perry of Zebulon, NC, two sons, Destryon Perry of Wake Forest, NC, and Jarmal Perry of California; a daughter, Kendall Harris of Wake Forest, NC; five grandchildren, six Godsons, three God-sisters, two brothers, two aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
