Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Margaret Lynn, of Louisville; niece, Cynthia Johnson of Ballplay.
Her survivors include her husband, Randy Thomas of Louisville; daughter and son-in-law, Tonia and Nick McCarter of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Sonia and Matt Wester of Knoxville; daughter, Brittany Thomas of Kansas; sister, Willie Mae Sexton of Louisville; sister and brother-in-law, Anna Faye and Rod Presley of Ballplay; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Glenda Lynn of Ballplay; grandchildren, Paige and Makenna McCarter, Alex and Olivia Wester, and many other special nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside service will be at Ballards Chapel Cemetery, 1905 E Old Topside Rd., Louisville, TN 37777 on Tuesday, August 11th, 2020 at 10:00 am, with Pastor Scott Knight officiating. The family is asking for donations in lieu of flowers.
