Ms. Claudia Lee Hutchins-Evans was born on January 29, 1932, in Blakley, Georgia who was married to Robert Evans who proceeded her in death. She was the beloved daughter of the late Ms. Ruby Hutchins, and the late Mr. Brownie Mosley.
She was educated in the Sumter County School System. She was active in the community, with friends and neighbors. She was concerned about people and enjoyed providing for others. She was preceded in death by one sister, Jessie Mae Hutchins. One son Anderson Wingfield, Jr. One daughter Sharon Wingfield-Worthington and a very dear friend Ms. Elnora Mallory.
At a young age, she confessed her belief in Christ and joined Zion Hope Baptist Church of Sumpter City, Georgia. In later years, she joined New Union Grove Baptist and fellowshipped with New Jerusalem Faith Ministry, Inc.
Claudia worked for many years in the restaurant industry and later in life she worked in the healthcare field as a Home Healthcare Private Care Giver. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling, listening to Gospel Music, and visiting her family and friends. She was a joy to be around and full of wisdom. She was selfless with her love, outgoing, and truly had a special lover for family, and especially her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, a caring and devoted Auntie, a cherished cousin, and an unforgettable friend who touched the lives of people around her in a very special way.
On June 20, 2020, Almighty God in His wise way, removed her from this life the soul of Claudia at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
