Richard Neil Lyons, 76, of Gainesville, Texas was called to his eternal home on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
Richard was born on July 10, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to Oscar Ray and Loetha (Jones) Lyons.
He is survived by his wife, Andi; sons, Scott and Chris; daughter-in-law, Jeri Ann; grandchildren, Haley, Trevor, Kristina, Austin, Matthew and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Teagan, Kristopher, Liam and Luna; and sister, Donna.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Loetha and brother, Allan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 424 Main St., Lindsay, TX 76250.
Pallbearers will be Austin, Matthew, Trevor and Zac.
Graveside services honoring Richard will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 10, 2020, officiated by Father Matthew Tatyrek. No formal visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
