Phebe Morris was the daughter of Archibald Morris. Her first husband was Dr. Abner Westover. They married in 1843. Together they had two children, Mary Estelle Westover and William A. Westover. Abner died in 1849 in Friendship, New York. She then married Dr. Oliver W Hewitt in 1857. Phebe's sister, Eliza A. Morris, was Oliver's first wife. Eliza died in 1855.
