Opal Ann Smith passed from this life August 7, 2020 with her loved ones by her side.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lois Pauline England Thompson and Luther Newton Thompson, sister Joy Nixon, and beloved grandson Anthony.

She is survived by husband Ennis Smith, daughter Rhonda English and son Gary English, step daughters Linda Muncy and Sandy Fugate, sisters Minnie Brassfield and Lois Harrison, brothers Luke and Paul Thompson, and several nieces and nephews.

Opal enjoyed many hobbies including oil painting, sewing, gardening, collecting victorian figurines, cooking, homemaking, and care-giving.
Opal was a sweet spirit that will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Services will be private.
