Mrs. Catherine A. Reed, 88, of Denton, died at her home early Tuesday morning.
She came to Lancaster County as a child and lived at Denton most of her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church at Denton.
Mrs. Reed is survived by her husband, James, two daughters, Mrs. William (Sadie) Spann of Atkinson, NE and Mrs. C.W. (Frances) Haase of Denton; a son, George W. of Litchfield, NE; two brothers, William J. and John Kelly, both of Lincoln; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
