Mr. Ellis passed away at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Friday, August 7, 2020. He was born December 29, 1947 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Charlene and Edgar Ellis. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Doris Ellis.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on his farm, and working on his tractor. Mr. Ellis was a member of Centerville Missionary Baptist Church and was also a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
Survivors include his two sons Shermit (Misty) Ellis and Shannon (Jennifer) Ellis and one grandson Anden Elllis.
