Tamara Lynn White of Ransom, KY was born on May 27, 1970 in Cook County, Illinois a daughter of Harry White and the late Georgia (Mounts) White departed this life on Wednesday August 5, 2020 at her home. Tamara was 50 years old. In addition to her mother those that precede her in death include her step mother Betty White; brother Timmy White and a step sister Louise Diamond.

Before Tamara’s health declined she enjoyed her creative nature. As she kept herself busy with not only decorating her home but helping those she loved decorate theirs. When not being crafty with her gift of home décor she enjoyed four-wheel riding with family and friends. Above her many adventures and artistic talents her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved family.

Those that survive Tamara include her beloved fiancé John Randy Phillips of Ransom, KY sisters Deborah May and her husband Tim of McAndrews, KY; brother Greg White of McCarr, KY; step sisters Sandra King and her husband Shawn of Matewan, WV, Deann Prater and her husband Autry of Freeburn, KY and Loreen Sullivan and her husband Barry of Phelps, KY; step brothers Ira “Big Mike” New and Trina of Phelps, KY and Frankie New and Deborah Layne of Freeburn, KY.

Tamara Lynn is also survived by a community of friends as well as a host of nieces and nephews she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent spike in area cases please adhere to all social distancing recommendations. Services honoring the life of Tamara will be conducted on Saturday August 8, 2020 beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Chambers Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Larry Blackburn officiating. Burial will then follow in the Mounts Family Cemetery at Barenshee in Freeburn, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will gather with friends following all social distancing guidelines on Saturday August 8, 2020 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.
